TeGo

TeGoMaria Teresa Gonzalez (TeGo) went to live in Taxco, Mexico when she was eleven years old and instantly she fell in love with the jewelry design she discovered there. By fifteen years old, she was already enrolled at the National University of Mexico’s school of Plastic Arts studying the art of making jewelry.

Motivated by creativity, she also pursued a career in Industrial Design where she learned about different areas of design from theatrical staging and interior design to furniture and apparel; all of these areas of interest continue to inspire the look and feel of the TeGo line.

Designing for Teresa is an opportunity to satisfy her passions. She believes that “design brings dreams and imagination to reality, to be enjoyed and to provoke happiness.”

She uses a wide variety of materials for her creations, from Sterling Silver, to Bronze dipped in gold, or silver plating, and combines them with genuine gemstones, glass, acrylic or wood. She is truly a versatile designer.
