The Real Reason why we skip Black Friday / Cyber Monday

Why We Don’t Do Black Friday or Cyber Monday Sales
As soon as November arrives, it feels like the whole world goes into sale mode. Every email, every ad, every store window is shouting: Black Friday! Cyber Monday! Biggest sale of the year!
But here at TistiK, we take a different approach. You won’t find huge discounts or flashing “50% off” banners, and there’s a good reason why:
Because our Pieces Are Handmade, Not Mass-Produced

Many stores run major sales because they deal in mass-produced items. Those items are made by the hundreds or thousands, often using assembly-line production, and many units end up sitting on shelves. When stores want to make space or move inventory quickly, lowering prices becomes their easiest option.
But our pieces are different. Every item in our store is handcrafted, meaning each piece is carefully and individually made by skilled hands, using techniques passed down through generations. That process takes time, attention to detail, and care. Because of this:
-
We don’t have hundreds or thousands of identical items waiting to be sold.
-
Our products are one of a kind, and sometimes, there's literally only one of each piece available.
-
Discounting them would lower their value not just in price, but in their craftsmanship, meaning, and integrity.
We don’t have boxes of identical items sitting on warehouse shelves. We don’t overproduce. And we don’t make things just to put them on sale later.
Sales Are for Surplus: We Create for Meaning
Big retailers offer deep discounts because they deal with mass production. When you make thousands of the same product, there’s always a need to clear space and move inventory.
But our business isn’t about clearing shelves, it’s about honoring craftsmanship. To discount handmade pieces would mean lowering the value of the artistry and effort that goes into each one, and that’s something we never want to do.
Our Prices Are Always Fair
We also believe in fair, honest pricing all year round. Our pieces aren’t marked up just to be marked down later. We don’t inflate prices to make discounts look bigger.
Each price you see reflects the real cost of craftsmanship: the materials, the artistry, and the fair wages paid to the artisans who make them. So instead of waiting for a “sale,” you can shop confidently knowing you’re already getting the right price every single day.
The Value of Our Materials Keeps Rising
The price of silver, the metal that forms the heart of so many of our pieces, is at one of its highest levels in years. In fact, silver prices have been rising steadily, reflecting not just market demand but also the growing recognition of its real-world value.
So while many products lose value over time, ours have actually gained it. The materials themselves are worth more today than some years ago.
When you buy a piece from us, you’re not just purchasing jewelry: you’re investing in something real, something lasting.
Why This Matters
When you buy from us, you’re not just purchasing an item — you’re supporting a way of life. You’re helping preserve traditions, empower artisans, and keep handmade art alive.
So while other stores focus on selling more, we’re focused on creating better.
On making things that last.
On offering pieces that carry stories, not barcodes.
Thank you for choosing handmade, for supporting fair craftsmanship, and for understanding why we don’t do Black Friday or Cyber Monday sales.
Because what we offer isn’t meant to be on sale.
It’s meant to be special.
